Spider-Te8 : Dakhlia, Mansoura is hiring Senior Backend Developer (PHP & Laravel)
Type: Full-time
Spider-Te8 is seeking an experienced and highly skilled Senior Backend Developer with a strong background in PHP and Laravel to join our growing team. We are looking for a candidate who can take charge of complex projects, collaborate with cross-functional teams, and contribute to the success of our innovative products.
Key Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable PHP code using the Laravel framework.
Collaborate with frontend developers, designers, and product managers to ensure seamless integration and high-quality user experiences.
Optimize applications for maximum speed, scalability, and performance.
Implement robust security measures to protect sensitive data and prevent vulnerabilities.
Develop and maintain well-structured and well-tested APIs, including both RESTful and XML APIs.
Participate in code reviews and provide constructive feedback to peers.
Contribute to continuous improvement processes by staying updated on the latest industry trends, tools, and best practices.
Develop and maintain microservices architecture where applicable.
Implement and maintain containerization using Docker and Kubernetes.
Apply strong problem-solving skills to analyze complex issues and propose effective solutions.
Set up and maintain CI/CD pipelines to ensure efficient and reliable deployment of applications.
Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field, or equivalent experience.
5-7 years of experience in backend development, with a focus on PHP and Laravel.
Strong understanding of database design principles and experience with relational databases such as MySQL or PostgreSQL.
Experience designing, implementing, and consuming RESTful APIs and XML APIs using Laravel.
Proficiency in Git version control.
Knowledge of best practices for building scalable, high-performance PHP applications.
Familiarity with secure coding practices and addressing security vulnerabilities.
Excellent communication and collaboration skills.
Experience with Agile methodologies and working in cross-functional teams.
Familiarity with microservices architecture and best practices.
Experience with Docker and Kubernetes for containerization and orchestration.
Knowledge of CI/CD principles and experience with tools such as Jenkins, GitLab CI/CD, or Travis CI.
